THA Chief Secretary To Attend Tuesday’s Meeting With National Security Council

Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine, accepts an invitation to attend a National Security Council meeting, to be held in Tobago on Tuesday.

This invitation comes after the Chief Secretary wrote to Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, in January of this year, requesting a meeting, to discuss the increased levels of criminality on the island.

The Chief Secretary says he is grateful for the privilege of being invited to the National Security Council and accepted the invitation to attend and represent Tobago’s issues during this meeting.

Augustine says the matter of crime affects all members of the society equally, regardless of political beliefs and added that as an island and country, we must work together in this fight against criminal elements in the society.
