The Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT) has advised that the double Bailey Bridge located along the S.S. Erin Road, Siparia, will be closed temporarily on Tuesday.
The temporary closure will occur at the 14.23km mark between 9am and 2pm.
The MoWT said this will facilitate maintenance works on the Bailey Bridge.
The following traffic restrictions will be in effect:
B 1/15 S.S. Erin Road, Siparia (northbound) will be closed while maintenance works are being conducted. As such, all vehicular traffic will be diverted onto B 1/15 S.S. Erin Road, Siparia (southbound), and vice versa.
During this period, traffic wardens will be on-site to direct motorists during the period of work.
