TEMA Working To Bring Relief To Residents Affected By Adverse Weather, Says Chief Secretary

Several families in Tobago are still displaced following bad weather this week.

They are located at Delaford, Belle Garden, Castara, Bacolet, Mount Pleasant, Les Coteaux and Castara.

However, efforts are taking place to bring relief to them.

Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine, made the revelation during a news briefing at the Tobago Emergency Management Agency, Fairfield Complex, Tobago.

Mr Augustine said the aim is get the five villages adversely affected back to a level of normalcy as quickly as possible.

The Chief Secretary said some of the schools in the North of Tobago were affected and assessments are continuing.
