TEMA Deactives Tobago Emergency Operations Centre

The Tobago Emergency Operations Centre was deactivated at 6am on Wednesday.

This after the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service, at 11pm Tuesday, said the Tropical Storm Warning was lifted as the disturbance was a strong tropical wave that made its way across Trinidad during the early night hours.

In a media release, TEMA thanked all emergency management stakeholders and the public for their cooperation during the passage of Potential Tropical Cyclone Two.

The TTMS said it will continue to monitor weather systems in the Atlantic, while TEMA will continue to coordinate all efforts concerning the management of incidents occurring on the island.
