TEMA Assures Its Readiness As Severe Weather Condition Looms

The Tobago Emergency Management Agency says the island’s emergency operations centre will go into full activation mode from tomorrow evening as the country gets ready for the effects of a Tropical Wave.

Director of TEMA, Allan Stewart, speaking at a news briefing held Monday said the sister isle has learnt from similar situations in the past.

Mr Stewart said coordination wise, TEMA, is in a state of readiness.

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine, said the sister isle is ready for any possible outcomes.

Mr Augustine urged the members of the public to continue to monitor information coming from the met Office.
