Teen granted bail after stabbing man in back

A 19-year-old teenager was granted bail of TT20,000 for stabbing a man in the car park of South Park Mall.

Tyrese Calliste of South Oropouche appeared before a San Fernando Magistrate to answer the charges of maliciously wounding his victim at the Mall over the weekend. The victim survived the attack after he was stabbed in the back. Calliste was granted bail and the judge ordered him to refrain from contacting the victim.

The matter was adjourned to September 26.
