The teachers at St Joseph Secondary School have decided to discontinue with their protest action.
On Wednesday, the teachers drove off the school’s compound, citing issues with infrastructure, health and safety.
However, reports are that they teachers turned out for duty on Thursday, but the students were in low numbers.
The teachers were able to meet yesterday with officials from the Ministry of Education’s Educational Facilities Planning and Procurement Division along with Occupational Health and Safety inspectors to discusses their issues, following which, they decided to discontinue their action.
The teachers were told that the necessary repair works will be done at the school.
