A video circulating on social media has audio of a teacher giving words of calm and comfort to young school children while shots are being heard in the back ground.
It is not clear if the video was taken today.
However, it shows children in school uniform on the ground as the teacher urges them to stay low.
The video is one minute and 54 seconds long.
At this time there is no verification from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service on the authenticity of the video.
