A driver and his passengers had the unfortunate circumstance of being robbed while in a maxi taxi on Wednesday night.
Reports indicate that a man who was also a passenger, rang the bell and asked to get out close to Second Crossing Hardware in Arouca. As he was leaving, he took out a gun and advised the driver to pull into an alley, where two of his accomplices were waiting. While in the alley, the men robbed everyone of their personal belongings before running way.
The driver went to the Arouca Police Station to make a report.
