Taxi driver found dead in his car

Police are investigating the murder of a taxi driver on Glorious Saturday afternoon in Arima.

The victim, identified as Mark Lewis of Calvary Hill, Arima, was found in his vehicle around 1:45pm with gunshot wounds.

The vehicle was found at By-pass Road, Arima, near the HDC Housing Development.

Reports are that Lewis was hijacked by three men and shot dead when he resisted. He crashed his car along the By Pass Road and the killers escaped.
