Calypso newcomer Tameika Darius has been crowned the NWAC National Calypso Queen 2023.
Darius, singing the selection ‘Now More Than Ever,’ topped the field of seven performers, who participated in the final held on Sunday 29th January at Queen’s Hall, St. Ann’s.
Placing second was Kerine Williams-Figaro with ‘Just For Me,’ while Alana Sinnette better known as Lady Watchman, finished in third place with ‘Bullets Have No Eyes.’
