The population is being assured there are systems in a place to deal with delinquent employers who are not paying national insurance on behalf of their workers.
The commitment is given by Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Brian Manning, in the Senate Tuesday afternoon.
Minister Manning was at the time responding to a question posed to him by Independent Senator, Charrise Seepersad.
Minister Manning said as part of the routine operations of the NIB all employers are provided with appropriate national insurance education.
