The South West Regional Health Authority has temporarily suspended all in-person services at its Out Patient Clinics until further notice.
Patients are advised that SWRHA staff will contact them about new prescriptions, clinic cards/new appointments, referral/blood results.
Patients with scheduled appointments who do not receive a call from the Authorities are requested to contact 87-SWRHA (877-9742).
The SWRHA has also advised that the COVID-19 vaccine booking appointment has been closed.
In a release on Saturday, the SWRHA said that the public will be updated when the booking system will reopen.
Hundreds turned up at the mass vaccination centre at the Southern Academy for Performing Arts this past week. All those who had appointments were inoculated, while walk-ins were turned away.
