Police have apprehended the suspect in connection with the brutal murders of siblings Keston Singh, 21, and Shenelle Singh, 17, in New Grant last night.
The horrific crime took place around 7pm at Keston’s home on Nagee Road, Hindustan, New Grant, Princes Town.
Residents of the area heard a commotion and saw a man from the community fleeing the scene.
Shenelle, who lived on Solomon Road, Mayaro, had gone to visit her brother when the incident unfolded.
Both were savagely chopped to death.
The suspect, identified as Vishnu Badal, was familiar to the victims.
He was captured this morning during searches by the police.
