President of the Supermarket Association, Rajiv Diptee, says the organisation is pleased by the increase in shopping this festive season.
Speaking with News Power Now this afternoon, Mr Diptee said in spite of this encouraging news it is important shoppers follow the various COVID-19 guidelines still in place.
Mr Diptee said from feedback received, several supermarkets did their best to retain as much workers as possible especially in light of the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic.
