Stakeholders Meet To Address Coastal Protection In Tobago

Over 20 stakeholders met in Tobago in a workshop recently to discuss matters relating to Coastal Protection.

It was purposed to expose industry stakeholders to environmentally friendly or blended strategies and solutions that can effectively address the coastal erosion challenges.

The workshop was described as not timely but necessary, as the Tobago House of Assembly readies itself to tackle the growing challenges presented by coastal erosion in the South Western part of the island.

The forum, themed “The Green Infrastructure for Coastal Protection” was facilitated by two professors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
