St Lucia Kings got their second win in the Caribbean Premier League T20 tournament with a fifty one run victory against fourth placed Guyana Amazon Warriors at Warner Park, St Kitts today.
Roston Chase made a top score of 85 runs from 50 balls to help the Kings reach 149 for 9 of their twenty overs.
His innings included seven sixes and six fours.
Bowling for the Warriors, Romario Shepherd continues to enjoy a good season with figures of 3 for 21 from four overs.
Odean Smith provided support taking 3 wickets for 22 runs from four overs.
In their run chase, Warriors were all out for 98 runs from 16.5 overs.
Captain Nicolas Pooran led by example with 41 runs from 26 balls.
Oden Smith made 31 not out.
The Kings blowing attack was led by Jeavor Royal who had 3 for 19 from 3 overs, Obed Mc Coy 2 for 19 from 3 overs and Kesrick Williams 2 for 7 from 2.5 overs.
At 7 this evening , St Kitts and Nevis Patriots which is led by Captain Dwayne Bravo will be pushing for their fifth straight win of the tournament when they come up against Barbados Royals at the same venue.
