The population and the nation will earn more financially and other wise should sport tourism as well as other aspects in this arena be given greater emphasis in Trinidad and Tobago.
It’s a point made by Opposition Senator, Anil Roberts, while he made his input to the Appropriation Financial Year 2022 Bill in the Senate Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Roberts reflected on how great sporting moments in the past involving our national sporting heroes would have helped bring about unity and togetherness.
However, Mr Roberts said there is need for the discipline, to be shown greater respect and financial support.
Senator Roberts also gave more details on various opportunities which can be explored to generate much needed income.
