The Ministry of Sport and Community Development says it has been in close communication with the family of the T&T’s late Olympic athlete Deon Lendore.
In a publication by the Ministry it is working with the T&T Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, to have Lendore’s family wishes respected and implemented as soon as possible.
In earlier reports Deon Lendore’s mother said she wanted her son’s body brought back to Trinidad to be buried.
