Sparrow’s son Sergio Francisco has died

The calypso fraternity is mourning the loss of calypsonian Sergio Francisco.

Sergio was the son of calypso icon Slinger Francisco, The Mighty Sparrow.

The 40-year old passed away suddenly on Monday and the cause of his death has yet to be revealed.

However, Covid19 has so far been ruled out, as those closest to him said he tested for the virus last week and the result was negative.

Sergio Francisco was a brilliant composer, a former Young Kings Monarch finalist and Top 20 Stars of Tomorrow honoree.
