Members of the public responded enmasse to take advantage of the discounts being offered in after Christmas sales.
On High Street San Fernando vendors were out in their numbers to facilitate customers who turned up to take up the offer of discounted prices.
President of the Greater San Fernando Area Chamber of Commerce Kiran Singh said that the sale would last until New Year’s Eve.
However he has stressed the importance of safety.
He says it’s important that shoppers remember to practice Covid 19 protocols when they are shopping.
