South Africa Leads By 34 Runs Going Into Day Three Of Invitational Eleven

South Africa Invitational Eleven cricketers lead by thirty-four runs against West Indies going into day three, tomorrow, of their four day match at Benoni.

The regional side reached 289 for 9 in their first inning.

Jason Holder top scored with 57runs.

Wicket keeper, batsman Joshua Da Silva made 54 runs.

In reply, the home side reached 317 all out.

Wihan Lubbe top scored with 71 runs.

Dewald Brevis contributed 50.

Bowling for the Caribbean side Roston Chase took three wickets for 94 runs from 19 overs.

Akeem Jordan was also among the wickets taking 3 for 32 and Shanon Gabriel had 2 for 45 from 10 overs.

The West Indies will play the first test match against South Africa from February 28th 2023.
