Soldier escape from lockup second time this week

Private Kadeem Ash­ford was successful in his escape, when he disappeared from his holding cell at Camp Odgen around 3:30p.m on Thursday.

Ashford, a sol­dier as­signed to the Spe­cial Forces of the T&T Reg­i­ment (TTR), escaped from the cell on Wednesday but was captured a short distance away. This time, he escaped and police believe he may be armed and dangerous.

Ashford was being held at the Camp for his possible connection to a murder in South Trinidad. He is reported to have filmed a video before one of his escapes, jokingly encouraging the authorities to state that he is a member of TTR and is extremely dangerous.
