The Ministry of Health is reporting six additional COVID-19 related deaths in Trinidad and Tobago.
In its latest clinical update Tuesday, the Ministry says the person were one elderly male, one elderly female, two middle age males and two middle aged females with co-morbidities.
The Ministry says this brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to one thousand two hundred and ninety-one.
It says two hundred and forty-one additional persons have tested positive for the virus locally.
The update says seventeen persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
The Ministry says there have been two hundred and forty-six recovered community cases.
At present there are two hundred and eighty-four patients with the virus locally.
In terms of persons in home-self isolation the figure is three thousand, seven hundred and seventy-seven.
There are one hundred and thirty –four patients at state quarantine facilities.
Total patients in step down facilities stand at one hundred and two.
Thirty-nine thousand, one hundred and fifty-two persons have recovered from COVID-19 locally.
