Investigations are currently underway into the shooting and killing of a Chinese national, which occurred outside a bar in Barataria on Sunday morning.
Around 9.48 am, police were notified of a shooting at Seventh Street outside De Coded Bar and when they arrived they found Yu Yu Jin, of 91 Eastern Main Road, Barataria, lying in a pool of blood.
Jin was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope by officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force, where he died at about 10.15 am while being treated.
Video footage of the incident show a man coming out of a white car, walk up to Jin and shoot him at point blank range.
