A man identified as Ivan Lambkin was shot and killed in Valencia last night.
The incident took place a stones throw away from the Valencia Police Post.
Around 9 pm police said they heard gunshots.
CC TV footage posted on social media showed a crowd scattering from the scene. Moments later, a man stumbled onto the roadway and collapsed.
When police arrived, they saw a crowd of people assembled, then later saw Lambkin’s body lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was still alive at the time and was rushed to the Sangre Grande Hospital.
However, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
