A 38-year-old man was killed last night while liming at a pan theatre in Santa Cruz.
The victim has been identified as Nigel Carimbocas of Cantaro Village.
Around 10:45pm, Mr Carimbocas and another man, age 20, were liming at Pan Jammers Pan Theatre, when a vehicle drove up and an occupant stepped out, firing several shots and both men.
The suspect then ran back to the car and drove off.
Carimbocas died while being treated at hospital.
The other man was shot once in the elbow.
Police suspect the man that Carimbocas was liming with was the real target as Carimbocas was not known to them.
