A shooting in Princes Town last night has left one man dead and another injured.
The deceased has been identified as Eyell Danglade, 32, of Mafeking Village, Mayaro.
Reports state that Danglade was headed to the home of a female friend along Sixth Company Circular, Indian Walk around 8:30pm, in the company of a 25-year-old male friend, when gunshots rang out.
Both men were shot several times.
Danglade died on the scene, while his 25-year-old friend, who was also shot, was able to escape and hide until police arrived on the scene.
He is now warded at the Princes Town district health facility.
Investigations are continuing.
