Officers from the Western Division and the Homicide Bureau are currently investigating the murder of a man in Cocorite on Sunday morning.
Dead is Wayne “Mule” Simmons.
Residents of Sea View Hill in Cocorite reported hearing a series of loud explosions around 8am and upon investigation, observed Simmons running, then later collapse in a grassy area.
Police were notified, but by the time they and the paramedics arrived, Simmons had succumbed to his injuries.
