Two men were shot and wounded during an incident in Arouca on Thursday morning.
Around 12:10 am, the two men were liming in the verandah of a house along 12th Avenue in Bon Air, when they were confronted by a masked man.
The two men, aged 39 and 45, attempted to flee the scene, however, they heard gunshots.
Reports state that the both limers were able to make it into house, where they secured the door behind them.
They then discovered they had both been hit.
One victim was shot to the left foot while the other was shot to the right shoulder.
Both are now warded at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
Police are continuing investigations.
