Officers of the Arima CID are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding a shooting, which has left two young men nursing gunshot wounds, one of them being a teen.
Around 7pm last evening, a 16-year-old boy and his 22-year-old friend were standing on Fifth Street, Peytonville, Arima, when gunshots rang out.
Residents reported hearing the shots and later saw the two young men bleeding.
The 22-year-old was bleeding from his head while the teen was reportedly bleeding from his stomach.
They were rushed to the Arima Hospital, where the man was listed in critical condition, while the boy was treated and listed in a serious but stable condition.
