Shocking audio of conversations amongst the divers involved in the fatal pipeline incident – in February this year – at Berth 6, Paria Fuel Trading Co. Ltd, Pointe-a-Pierre.

It was presented by Counsel to the Commission of Enquiry, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj, SC, during Monday’s evidentiary hearing in the COE into the incident currently underway at Tower D Judicial Complex, Port of Spain.

Mr Maharaj stated that the conversations between Kazim Ali Jr, Fyzal Kurban, Yusuf Henry, Rishi Nagassar and Christopher Boodram – Boodram being the lone survive – took place over the three day period February 25th – 28th.

Maharaj said Boodram would have been resued sometime between 4.30 and 4.45 pm, however, “the four other divers remained alive in the underwater pipeline, and they were not rescued.”
