Sex tape reality star Kim Kardashian prompts women to get up and work – receives backlash on Twitter

Kim Kardashian is facing social media backlash after her advice to women in business went viral on Wednesday.

Although Kim posing nude and sharing nearly-naked snaps on Instagram is practically old hat at this point, social media users can’t forget what served as a launching pad for Kim K’s stratospheric success in the first place.

The 40-year-old shot to fame in 2007 after an adult entertainment company, reportedly paid $1 million for an online leaked tape of her and singer Ray-J having sex.

Kardashian, who is on the cover of Variety along with sisters Kourtney and Khloé and mom Kris Jenner, spoke to the publication about the new Hulu series “The Kardashians.”

Kim Kardashian claims to have “the best advice for women in business,” following it up with a simple “get your f**king ass up and work.”

Addressing people who might think that her life is easy, she said, “When you do product shots (or) when you (post) things that are work-related posts, it’s still a job and it’s still really hard.”

Variety shared a snippet of Kim Kardashian’s business advice on Twitter and users began to point out why they disagreed with her comments.
