Members of the security forces in Jamaica, conduct an operation on the Hellshire Main Road in Portmore, St Catherine.
According to the Jamaica Observer, several persons have been detained for breaching the 3 p.m curfew now in effect.
The curfew, which has been tightened for the Heroes Weekend, runs from 3 p.m to 8 a.m daily until Tuesday.
