After hours of searching, the body of New Grant man Anthony Walkes has been discovered.
Walkes was swept away by flood waters on Monday and his body found this morning in a river in Hardbargain.
Search teams, including fire officers, members of the Defence Force, Coast Guard and police, accompanied by Walkes’ relatives, had resumed the search for Walkes at dawn after it was called off late yesterday.
