Scotiabank unleashes a host of new ATM locations

Scotiabank is providing its customers with more ATM options as the bank has expanded its ATM network across the country.

Stephen Bagnarol, managing director of Scotiabank TT, in a release issued on Thursday, said “We continue to invest and grow in TT. By expanding our ATM footprint, we’re extending our financial services closer to your home. We want you to be able to do your banking safely and conveniently.”

New ATM locations include Superpharm, Westmoorings and Gulf View, La Romaine; Food Basket, Champ Fleurs, Gulf City and Lowlands, Tobago; and Unipet, Tacarigua (which opened this week).

Coming in January will be ATMs at Penny Savers Supermarket, Bon Accord, Tobago; and Atlantic Plaza in Point Lisas.

Savon Persad, the bank’s VP, retail and small business banking, said: “We are very proud to be able to collaborate with these partners to build out a robust ATM network, and expand our reach beyond our existing branches.

“Having won two Best Bank awards in 2020, we are committed to continuous improvement and enhancing our service to customers. Additional locations for ATMs are being reviewed so look out for these in the upcoming months.”

As with all activity on accounts, customers receive real-time notifications of all ATM transactions with Scotiabank Alerts. This free service helps customers protect and stay on top of their money.

The bank said it continues to underscore the importance of digital banking channels.

Bagnarol said, “Helping our customers Stay Home and Stay Safe during this pandemic remains our top priority. While these out of branch/offsite ATMs provide additional convenience to withdraw cash and other services.

“I encourage our customers to use Scotia OnLine and the Scotia Caribbean App to pay bills, transfer funds and so much more. Online banking is free, easy and secure from the comfort of your home with our step by step guides on tt.scotiabank.com.”
