A number of schools within the Mayaro constituency were sanitised ahead of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA), which will take place this Thursday 1st July 2021.
The sanitising initiative was performed by the Mayaro Rio Claro Regional Corporation, with the Mafeking Government Primary School and the Mayaro Government Primary School among those being handled.
The Corporation’s Public Health Department unit was on site at both schools this week, using sanitisation devices donated by Onsite Services Limited and the Mayaro COVID-19 Action Task Force.
The donated chemicals and equipment were handed over to the MRCRC Disaster Management Unit to assist in sanitization of public offices, schools and other high-risk areas in the MRCRC Region.
