A 15-year-old schoolboy is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed another boy during a fight at a mall in Curepe.
According to reports the boys were among a group of students at the Priority Mall, Curepe, at around 3 pm when a fight started on Tuesday.
During the fight, the boy stabbed a 16-year-old form four student in his stomach with a knife.
The wounded boy took shirt off and used his bookbag as a bandage to stop the bleeding.
Eyewitnesses stopped a police vehicle which took the boy to the hospital.
Investigators said the 15-the year-old suspect was later brought to the St Joseph police station where he currently remains in custody.
