Another police involved shooting took place this morning, this time in the Santa Cruz area.
Reports are that officers of the North-Eastern Division Task Force went to the home of Shaquille Morris around 3:45am to serve him a warrant.
However, the officers were allegedly shot at and they returned fire.
Morris was hit and was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope where he died shortly after arrival.
Santa Cruz police are investigating.
