It could take between three to four weeks for applicants who are successful to benefit from the Salary Relief Grant which is one of the steps government has put in place to help cushion the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, was questioned on the matter by the Opposition during the question and answer period in the House of Representatives on Monday.
Meanwhile, Leader of Government Business, Camille Robinson Regis, gave an update with respect to requests for funeral grants from the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services.
