High Commissioner of India, H.E. Arun Kumar Sahu, last evening gave remarks on the donation of 40,000 Vaccines to T&T.
The High Commissioner said, “today, on behalf of India’s people and government, I handed over 40,000 doses of AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccines to Trinidad and Tobago’s people and government.
India and Trinidad and Tobago share a long-friendly relationship, a similar history, culture and democratic value system.
He said the donation is a reiteration of that long-standing relations.
In his video message, Sahu thanked the Opposition Leader for her letter to India’s Prime Minister and says they understand and value her sentiments and that citizens in India are proud of her achievements and struggles.
