S.E.A make-up exam today – 146 students registered

Students who missed out on writing the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) earlier this month will be sitting a make-up exam today.

Education Minister, Nyan Gadsby-Dolly revealed to media on Tuesday that 146 students registered to write today’s exam, after they missed the July 1st date.

There will be eight examination centres today – one per education district, to accommodate the students.

Although 146 registered for the SEA today, 227 students actually missed the initial date of July 1st for various reasons.

However, it is not known why the remaining 81 students will not be writing today’s exam.
Gadsby-Dolly said, “Candidates who miss both the main and make up test would sit the exam next year.”

The SEA results are expected to be released by October 8.
