Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is set to join Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly in a virtual Spotlight on Education to be held on Thursday, 26 November.
The Spotlight on Education will be used to tell the public what are the facts with respect to “the allocation for education and the systems that support our young people.
Dr Rowley made the announcement during a telephone interview with i95.5 FM on Saturday.
He said: “The issue in front of the population, is the situation with respect to the contribution that the State makes to the parents and the young people of TT. He said, “If we don’t put the facts before the population, then the misinformation provided by persons with their own agendas can mislead the public.
The PM said the format of the education spotlight will be similar to what been done previously for issues such as energy and the economy.
