Rowley: Gary is my “biggest mistake”

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has said that the appointment of Gary Griffith as Police Commissioner is the “biggest mistake” he has ever made.

Rowley said his decision then was based on his belief that he should allow appointments of the best people the country had to offer for various roles, regardless of their political affiliations.

However, he cited the recently completed audit of the Firearms Department of the T&T Police Service saying that it makes for “very, very troublesome reading.”
