Rosary Boys PTA remodelled the school’s bathroom by raising $110,000.00

Rosary Boys R.C school bathroom was built in 1928 and no repairs had been done to the area since then.

However during the country’s lockdown measures in 2020 the school’s PTA decided to come together and demolish and remodelled the entire bathroom and toilet area.

In a media release the PTA said “the project was initiated in the in the early stages of the pandemic. Despite many of our parents facing socio and economic challenges, the onset of becoming home teachers and coping with the fears associated with Covid-19, our parents remained committed to our goal. We were able to raise TT$110,000.00, while being confined to our home.”

“The PTA quickly adapted to the new era and worked tirelessly day, night, and weekends; using social media platforms, emails, electronic meeting platforms and telephone conversations to raise funds for the school’s bathroom project. With the support of our dedicated parents, past Rosarians and Corporate Trinidad and create a safe, clean, and healthy environment for our boys.”
