Rock Hard distributes devices through Adopt-A-School

Rock Hard Distributors Limited, a member of the Ramhit Group of Companies, has distributed approximately two hundred (200) devices to students from nine (9) schools, to support their home-based learning.

At a handover ceremony at the Education Towers on Tuesday 20th October, 2020, Minister of Education, Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly,  was joined by Ryan Ramhit, Managing Director of Rock Hard Cement in Trinidad and the principals of the receiving primary and secondary schools.

Mr. Ramhit, during the handover, indicated that the 200 devices form part of a commitment of two thousand (2000) devices to be donated by the Ramhit Group of Companies as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. In addition to the devices, students also received novels and stationery supplies to support their learning while at home.

As corporate Trinidad and Tobago continues to support the efforts of the Ministry of Education to provide access to students in need, Minister Gadsby-Dolly reiterated her thanks to all corporate sponsors in answering the call to support the nation’s children.

The schools receiving devices on Tuesday were:

  • La Horquetta North Primary (20)
  • Maracas SDA Primary (25)
  • La Horquetta South Primary (20)
  • Arima West Government Primary (20)
  • Morvant Anglican Primary (25)
  • Malabar Secondary (20)
  • St. Dominic’s R.C. Primary (25)
  • Bourg Mulatresse R.C. Primary (25)
