The appointment of Reginald Armour as the new Attorney General is not a decision that was made overnight, but one that was in the making for some time.
That’s according to Political Analyst Rishi Maharaj.
Armour, a longstanding member of the legal fraternity, was sworn in immediately yesterday, with Prime Minister Keith Rowley witnessing the event.
Armour is not an elected Member of Parliament and will therefore be entering the Government as a Senator.
Speaking with News Power Digital this morning Maharaj maintained that a decision like that one would have required some planning on the part of Mr Armour, so this suggests that he would have been informed on the decision for some time ago.
