A 24-year-old man was arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized during a roving road check exercise in Rio Claro on Tuesday 25th May, 2021.
During the exercise, several vehicles were stopped and searched at several locations. Around 3.40pm yesterday, officers stopped a vehicle at Cunapo Southern Road, Navet Village, Rio Claro. Officers conducted a search, during which they allegedly found a quantity of marijuana, weighing 345 grammes.
SEAN RIVERS, of Navet Village, Rio Claro, was arrested and was charged by PC Kalicharan with possession of marijuana.
The exercise was coordinated by Ag Insp Ragbir, supervised by Ag Sgt Maharaj, Ag Cpl Denoon and included CID, Task Force and a warrant officer.
