Rio Claro Court shutdown for sanitisation

In-person activities at the Princes Town/Rio Claro District Court have been suspended temporarily.

According to The Judiciary, this temporary shutdown came into effect yesterday (January 13, 2021), to facilitate sanitisation of the Court building.

As such, the public is advised that no one will be allowed into the compound until sanitisation has been completed.

The Judiciary’s official statement read: “The current course of action is required to investigate the COVID-19 status of staff. The sanitisation of the facility will be conducted as required and there can be no in-person hearings or activities.”
