Rhondell Feeles says women should be treated same as men when accused of abuse

Head of the Father’s Association Rhondell Feeles says that the recent video showing the abuse of a young boy by his mother who did so allegedly because she was upset with his father only showed part of the abuse.

Ramesh Basdeo, a Guyanese national and the father of the child in the video, said the ordeal surrounding the incident has been heart-wrenching.

Feeles says while the father did ultimately report the incident of abuse he was concerned with his illegal status in T&T and the ramifications of going to police given this fact, a fact he says that the child’s mother constantly held over his head.

Speaking with the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this morning he said that Mr Basdeo had a bad experience with the police before when he attempted to make a previous report of child abuse concerning his son.
